Told me if I had any concerns or questions to give the office or him a call, about 10:30pm last night I get home from work and noticed I lost power to my kitchen and dining outlets and it smelled like something was burning so I called Tony and my apologies woke him up and explained to him what I noticed, he was willing to come to my house late night/after hours to attend my concerns. He talked me through what to check and I noticed a chewed up heater cord that I forgot to un-plug it from the outlet which was the burning smell I notice and hit the reset button on my outlet and “MAGIC” everything is working. I want to thank Tony for his Professionalism, Dedication and going above and beyond for us customers.”

Unfortunately I don’t remember the tech who came out but my furnace was acting up and after I was not able to figure it out and calling around local and every place was backed up West Mechanical came out right away from Bellingham to Burlington and in no time they had figured out it was a dirty sensor and so they did a 5 year cleaning and fixed the problem! The tech was great even after I apologized for the inconvenience of where my furnace is at he had no issues and didn’t mind. Great customer service, very fair price and company!”

Project analysis/bid proposal (Kris) was without a doubt FAR more in-depth, comprehensive and impressive than the two other bidding organization reps solicited for proposals. Kris' analysis/review of options with their pluses/minuses sold us on West Mechanical. Tony's install work was efficient and completed with successful results that sailed through inspector review and have us enjoying a well functioning heat pump unit. We are considering more work of this type in the future and when we decide to go for it will DEFINITELY call West Mechanical to get the job done.”
“My wife and I would like to thank West Mechanical for the recent installation of a Mitsubishi Hyper Heat heat pump system at our home on Camano Island. The team of Kris, Tony, Rudy, and Jack did an excellent job. They showed up when they said they would. They informed us as to what they were planning to do and asked our input where decisions were needed, before they proceeded with each step of the installation. They were always polite and cleaned up their work debris each day. The West Mechanical installation and customer service has exceeded our expectations. The repair man was courteous and answered all of our questions. They scheduled another appointment right there for further work to be done! “Kris was extremely knowledgeable and creative in identifying HVAC solutions for my home, where I wanted to add air conditioning, replace an old gas furnace, and provide heat for a garage woodworking shop. He carefully and quickly took measurements throughout the house to determine system requirements and provided multiple options for preventing the sound of the outdoor component of the A/C unit from carrying to my (very close by) neighbor’s deck. While on site, he provided 6 different complete system options, including both A/C and heat-pumps, and helped me understand the trade-offs and cost-drivers for each. “We have a 1994 manufactured house. Everything is 7/8th scale and needs to be upgraded. West Mechanical was vetted by PSE as one of two contractors for installation of a Trane heat pump system. Stephanie excplained all the ins and outs, available financing, and system specs. Ryan & Tony showed up as scheduled and begain demo of the old system, and installation of the new. Aaron stopped by with two surge protectors and to assist with some of the cabinet modifications. Bode Electric did the wiring. The install was completed in less than eight hours. The new system is so much more efficient, quiet and easy to use. Programming the thermostat unit is not complicated. We would recommend conversion to a heat pump as well as West Mechanical for installation to anyone interested, whether new construction or renovation. Additionally, the aftermarket services offered by West Mechanical will facilitate timely and proper system maintenance through the years. The rebates from PSE and Trane were added perks.”

“Our furnace broke at the worst time. Snow on the ground and 20 degrees outside. These two showed up a little early on Tuesday knowing my wife was scheduled for surgery on Wednesday. This team worked hard to get the new furnace installed as quickly as possible. They came at eight and were done by noon. That is, old furnace removed and the new one installed mess cleaned up and gone by 12:30. I turned the heat on and got my wife home from the hotel we had been staying at for a week. She had the surgery as scheduled thanks to the whole west mechanical team getting this job done. We could not be happier and I would recommend this company to anybody. Including my mother, and I love my mother. In short we were amazed by the whole team.”

“West Mechanical and Aaron Byers helped built our dream home and never left our side for years now. Aaron was a major advisor to assist us in multiple components for our home. He heard I have a horrible dust mite allergy and therefore my quality of air in my home keeps me healthier. We have a Geothermal system to heat and cool, on demand hot water system (for when all the kids and grandkids are home), heat/air duct system and zone control system. Our house runs itself, but when an issue pops up, West Mechanical responds in a timely manner always respectful, kind and knowledgeable. Its not easy to trust people with your dream, but we are glad we did.

Although there were some minor install and product glitches they were resolved and completed to my satisfaction. Everyone was gracious and helpful and I appreciated their good service and attention to detail.
Tyler was the technician who did the hands on work and he was wonderful. Always ready with a smile even though he had some issues to resolve. He stayed with it and wanted to make sure I was happy with the work. He cared about doing his best. I think Tyler is a strong asset to your company and feel he has a great work ethic and attitude.
On a note that might be helpful to you and your customer….perhaps before the project begins the technician doing the work should come to the service address with the sales representative to assess the work needing to be done. Just thinking all might go more smoothly if the technician could have input at this important time.

When the pump unexpectedly stopped operating, Nathan came out to the island the next day and, working with a factory consultant over the phone, traced the problem down to a failed power board. The part was shipped out from the factory by 2nd day air, and Nathan returned with it the day it arrived. Installation of the replacement part went smoothly, and the operation of my heat pump was quickly and efficiently restored. Nathan also took the time to ensure that the outdoor unit was fully sealed against any potential future infiltration of water or moisture. Hats off to West Mechanical for this prompt warranty repair, and thanks to Nathan for his friendly demeanor and excellent service. He is a pleasure to work with.”

He is also very personable and pleasant to work with. Unfortunately, his handling of the paperwork was not satisfactory. The rebate form (my portion of which I had filled out while he was still at my house) sat in his truck for a week and a half, instead of being sent in to the utility company immediately, as he had promised he would do. Had I not followed up with the office at West Mechanical, it would likely still be there. Tanner is a good installer, but he needs to get his act together on the rest of his job. Still, he's young, and I hope he'll learn something from this experience.”

The two-stage fan definitely seems to keep the temperature more stable. We have had to change our settings to a lower temp overall because the settings we used with the last furnace were too hot for the new furnace. I’m looking forward to seeing my next gas bill since this one seemed to double from last November.

I recently purchased a Trane natural gas furnace from West Mechanical. I found West Mechanical people to be dependable, knowledgeable and helpful. Brent, Dougal and Aaron individually and collectively made me feel comfortable in my decision. At the time of sale they gave several options and were helpful in my making a decision appropriate to my needs. They kept their appointments on time and the installation went exactly as they said it would, there were no additional charges at the time of installation because things were overlooked at the time of the sale.
